I spend most of my day online. I have three desktop computers running 4 operating systems, plus an iPad tablet, an Android smartphone, and an iPod. I encounter a variety of cool stuff online. The purpose of this blog is to share some of the stuff I run into.
This includes sites, software (open source), annoyances, tips, and probably a lot of other things.
Today, I have a tip. If you are on a desktop system running Windows, DO NOT UPGRADE to Windows 8 or 8.1. Maybe consider it if you are on a small-screen laptop with a touch screen. It might even be a decent operating system for a smartphone or tablet. But on a desktop, it is just ridiculous. All of the apps want to seize the whole screen. 'Nuff said.
